Hazard Communication training is legally mandatory for construction employers whose workers may be exposed to hazardous chemicals on the job. From paints, solvents, fuels, adhesives, silica-containing materials, cleaning products, sealants, and other chemical products, construction workers must understand the hazards they face — and employers must be able to show that they have provided compliant training.
