About the event
EM 385-1-1 is one of the most misunderstood safety standards in construction. Contractors routinely submit Accident Prevention Plans (APPs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and other documents that are rejected by the government, causing:
• project delays
• resubmittals
• lost time and money
This course provides practical instruction from the Government perspective—something never before available in EM 385 training. As the former Chief of Safety for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District, Dr. Rainwater reviewed contractor safety programs and enforced EM 385-1-1 on major federal construction projects.
Participants will receive practical insights they can immediately apply to avoid common compliance problems.
